After 40-plus years as a newspaper journalist and columnist, I now write history books and historical fiction novels. My stories have focused on World War II and the men and women who fought it. The reviews from readers, thus far, are encouraging.
I’m also exploring the genre of mystery writing. The jury is still out on whether I can do that with any degree of success. In the meantime, I gaining unexpected success with my daily column blog at this site. If you’re reading this, I hope you stay with me.
I’ll sell some Exxon stock to fund the purchase.
Just an idea. This is a topic that service clubs might want to hear about.

Thanks, Larry…I’ll show up wherever I’m invited. I’m already thinking about senior centers and libraries…service clubs would be good.

Hi Tom,
I look forward to your “column” and read it for its down-home and entertainment content. Good job!
I would be interested in receiving your forthcoming book on writing your own life history.
Keep it up.
